Today, Spiderroost Technologies completed two years of its formation. The company has kept on growing from its inception in June 30, 2006. The company was started with a two member staff and now is 20 member strong.

However, when I look back, more than what we have achieved it reminds me of what we failed to achieve. The kind of progress the company made is not with the expectations and dreams I had in mind. Yes, it did fell short of my expectations. But its also true that its not the end of the road. A technology company should progress in multiples of 10's and 20's, should grow at tremondous rate or else its not worth. The company was stagnent for a year in terms of looking for more sources of revenue apart from the SEO allied jobs.

Even though the team did work hard something was missing in terms of will and interest. Being the technical head of the company makes this fact more intorelable to digest as the reponsibility falls on me personally. But dreams are still alive and hopes still there, changing times will change the attitude at work and hope the company progresses much faster than its doing now :)

Apart from being the only outsourcing company at Latur, Mah, its also one of the only SEO companies in the central maharashtra region which provides services to US and UK clients. Still its a long way to go for the company to celebrate !

A decade back , knowledge sitting idle would have meant nothing. But now its the most powerfull weapon when attached to a PC and a Internet connection. Thats how technology has changed people's lives, not only people's but entire nation's. A country like India which was considered just as a developing nation is now lined as future number 1 and 2 among most powerfull nations in the world. And this has happened due to the economic strides the nation took especially in the IT sector , making it the knowledge superpower.

 The concept is very clear. It is a well known fact that knowledge is wealth and this large super pool of knowledge in India had converted well to wealth. Wealth means power and the country is now in a very much dominating position than it was years ago. People in India have realised that their efforts count much to the nation's progress.

 Even companies in small towns are hitting headlines, like Spiderroost Technologies, a company of which I am the technical head, and managed to win the global third prize in the international SEO contest which is a well accepted credit. However, there is a long way to go for companies and individuals in India and so is the SEO community in India.

 The SEO community at present is not well organised and I just hope they do some collective effort to make a change in this regard for mutual benefit. Individual's should make it a point to make use of their knowledge and convert them to money for their own and nation's benefit.
