I will be specific about the IT sector. The point i want to make here is the secrets behind the success of big companies in IT. Its an overall accepted principle that a country which is more leberal and democratic has a greater potential to growth and its exactly what is happening with companies too. A company which has better work atmosphere, liberty and good returns for its employess have succeeded a lot. The best example is offcourse Google. And the best comparison is Google and MSN. That tells the whole story of how things are different when the work culture changes. Some companies in India have now accepted this kind of work culture for growth and are growing at a tremondous rate. Hiring the right kind of people is just a minor part of the story, making them work for you for a longer duration is all together a different story. And its this approach which is changing the scenario of some big companies world over. |

Website promotion techniques are changing a lot with time and nowadays social media marketing is used as a prime tool to target the so called social audience. Initially it might sound that a simple link in a video is not much worth but eventually it works as a good viral marketing tool. Some of the modern ways i found myself are social bookmarking and commenting, blogging, video marketing like youtube, community site marketing like myspace and orkutting, several groups like google and yahoo. This kind of promotion brings instant result as well as grroms the site for a long term promotion. That means a site made just now can be promoted through these means untill the site ranks well on search engines using other optimization methods. Overall website marketing is a daunting task, no doubt but putting the right kind of effort into each of these can be worth a million dollars. |
